Directions from south...
Follow A9 route north
Turn left at Latheron (signposted Thurso)
Continue on A9 for a further 13 miles to the village of Spittal
(Spittal is clearly signposted)
The Auld Post Office is in the centre of the village on the right.
A central location between Thurso and Wick and the perfect stop-over if you’re driving the North Coast 500 miles (NC 500)

A ten mile circuit takes you towards the village of Halkirk, a slight incline to Harpsdale and on to Westerdale
before an incline once again back to Spittal, distant views to the peaks of Sutherland and Highland coos for company!
